Visiting Hours At Rikers Island

The theory and design

The theory is an explanation of the facts we have registered significant and that judge (innocently or negligently) explained. The theory can also be the questions we ask about the facts and questions raised by the explanations of those facts.

a theory without facts, without a discernible correlation can be empty talk. Explanations of nothing or there are many theories about unicorns, and certainly are more poets field of professionals to serve their customers.

design are largely made of the designers, their creations and processes, and to a lesser extent their statements.

The danger then is the stumbling permanently with standard solution. The tying and falls well known and acceptable. If I am not able to rethink the problem from the question that sets the stage, I can hardly say "creative" (!) Or "innovative" (!!).

Ergo, a practice set to an operational theory (technical) which can only lead to its limits permit, but the absence of any theory can only lead to mechanical practice, thoughtless and even inefficient.

Why?

In this world that changes every more rapid and unexpectedly, we not only keep up the possession of practices, formulas and knowledge. Together with them we must learn to think constructively about things that happen, its consequences and possibilities, narrowly speculate, experiment carefully, failure and repair quickly, implement, test and disassemble it all back.

Disciplined Theory + Practice + Persistence

Questions New Questions

Since it is increasingly evident that rest, sleep and time for reflection are valuable ingredients for creative and innovative thinking why in our current academic situation and by extension most of our professional reality, it validates the belief (and subsequent practice) on the alleged "creative magic" in the last minute? (Although, as I once said Gabriel Gurovich, "the best ideas often come from pressure and lack of options occurs at 5 in the morning").

"Proper time management should be subject of study in colleges or universities?

What could explain, and help manage things better, that creativity "has no office hours?

How good is the answer "this is this business?
